LOCATED SAFE: Man missing and may have fled to Memphis, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — UPDATE 11/25/2021 1:15 P.M.:

Deangelo Devon Hayes has been located and is safe, according to police. He is unharmed and with family in Memphis, police said.


A 24-year-old man has gone missing and is thought to have traveled to Memphis.

Deangelo Devon Hayes is being sought by the Murfreesboro Police Department.

After experiencing suicidal thoughts on Nov. 22, Hayes checked himself into Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital on Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro, police said.

He left the hospital before the professionals could examine, and treat him.

In a blue Honda SUV, Hayes drove away from the hospital, police said.

Police said he’s been listed as a missing person in the National Crime Information Center’s (NCIC) database.
