COVID-19 Testing at Baptist Before Thanksgiving Day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Baptist Memorial Health Care is offering COVID-19 testing at multiple locations in the metro-Memphis area prior to Thanksgiving Day.

Anyone can get tested but should prepare for delays because of increasing volumes during the holiday week.

Test results may take up to three days and fees may vary depending on insurance.

The following locations are offering testing through Wednesday, Nov. 25:

  • Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis located at 6019 Walnut Grove Road.

This is a drive-thru testing site and appointments recommended. To schedule an appointment, visit baptistonline.org/covid19 or log into the Baptist OneCare MyChart app. If appointments are not available online, please call 901-227-TEST (8378).

  • Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto located at 7601 Southcrest Pkwy. in Southaven.

This is a drive-thru testing site. Limited testing is available without an appointment from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please arrive as early as possible; the hospital may have to close the line before 7 p.m. if testing volume is too high.

  • Baptist Minor Medical Centers

Locations and times vary. A limited number of COVID-19 rapid tests are available every day, and they also offer nasal swab testing. Please call the Coronavirus Resource Center at 866-941-4785 for information about testing availability.

Baptist Medical Group patients can contact their physician’s office for options.

All testing sites will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will reopen on Friday, Nov. 27.

Baptist Memorial Health Care has performed more than 377,000 COVID tests since March, including 159,000 in the metro-Memphis area.
