Milwaukee missing mother, daughters found dead in garage, man in Memphis custody

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The mother and daughters who were reported missing were found dead in a Milwaukee garage Sunday morning.

Milwaukee police found Cameria Banks, 4, Zaniya Ivery, 5, and their mother Amarah “Jerica” Banks about 4 miles from where they were last seen alive Saturday, February 8 around 1 am.

Milwaukee authorities believe they were all last seen with Arzel Ivery, Banks’ boyfriend.

Ivery was arrested Saturday by Memphis police after a family member stated he came home talking about the incident in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Milwaukee police traveled to Tennessee to speak to Ivery and he told authorities where the bodies were located.

According to family, Amarah and her daughters were last seen after a funeral for Amarah’s 1-year-old son, Arzel.

The boy died from natural causes.

Ivery is expected to be in court Monday morning at 9 am.
