Memphis,TN — A deadly shooting inside of the Indulge Lounge Friday morning started with a minor disagreement, according to reports from the Memphis Police Department.
Police said it was around 12:30 a.m. when 26-year-old Keython Johnson entered and approached the bar, standing next to two men.

While standing there, one of the men, Lawrence “Jimmy” Williams, accidentally brushed up against Johnson while raising his arms, according to a police affidavit.
What could have ended there as a verbal argument soon escalated.

Police said that instead of letting it go, Johnson began punching Williams.
After hitting him several times, Johnson took out a gun and shot Williams and the second man who was standing with him, according to a police affidavit.

The second man was able to run away and wound up at the hospital in non-critical condition, according to police, but Williams wasn’t as lucky.
Police said Williams died there inside of the club as Johnson continued to shoot into him, MPD said.

The man who survived identified Johnson to police.
Johnson has now been charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
