Man indicted and arrested for human trafficking in Tennessee hotel

SPRINGFIELD — A man is behind bars and charged with rape after investigators said he is guilty of human trafficking minors in Livingston, TN.

In May, the Tennessee Human Trafficking Hotline received a tip from a Springfield hotel manager of suspicious activity, authorities said.

The employee actions were similar to the mandatory human trafficking training they had received, per reports.

Investigators confirmed that Timothy C. Duke, 44, was the suspect at the hotel with a minor.

On September 24th, a grand jury in Robertson County charged Duke with two counts of Aggravated Statutory Rape.

On October 9, Duke was taken into custody by the Overton County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Robertson County Jail on $25,000 bond, according to police.
