MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man died and a woman was critically injured after a shooting over the weekend, police said Wednesday.
According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers responded just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday to a shooting on Maple Leaf Cove near Winchester and Clarke roads.
Police said that suspects fired into a home from the outside.
Police said that the man and woman left the scene by private vehicle. The man did not survive his injuries and the woman was listed in critical condition.
No other details were released.
