MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was arrested after falling through an attic floor while breaking into a Memphis home, according to police.
Jacques Davis appeared in court Friday.
Police said the burglary took place Aug. 9.
Davis broke into the home while the residents were there, according to an affidavit.
He gained access by smashing a back window and climbing inside.
Davis then turned off a television and set it up against the window to be taken, police said.
Davis caused $1,493 worth of damage to the attic floor, according to the affidavit.
The victim identified Davis in a photo lineup.
Davis is charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism ranging from $1000 to $2500, records show.
