Man shot near Frayser gas station, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating a shooting that left one man in critical condition.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 2600 block of N. Watkins near a gas station just after 11:30 a.m. Monday.

The victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds and taken to Regional One in critical condition, police said.

During the course of the investigation, police determined the suspect was inside a black four-door sedan with front-end damage.

The vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Watkins from Whitney, police said.
