Memphis Farmer’s Market nears opening day for 2021 season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Farmer’s Market is back this year!

The 2021 season opening day is Saturday, April 3.

The market, located at 567 S. Front St., will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It runs from April through October.

The market hosts local farmers and artisans, including locally sourced produce, baked goods and arts and crafts.

This year’s market will feature 61 vendors and feature an open walkway plan without a designated entry point.

Face masks and social distancing will be required.

Customers can pay with cash or debit/credit card, as well as wooden tokens that are treated like cash.

This year the market is introducing the Oh SNAP! program, which doubles customers’ SNAP benefits up to $10.
