Memphis Grizzlies partnering with Hennessy, will highlight minority and Black owned businesses

Memphis, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies announced a partnership with Hennessy, the well-known Cognac brand and Official Spirit of the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League and USA Basketball, according to the Grizzlies.

The partnership will result in a digital series of videos during the second half of the Grizzlies season which will focus on elevating the awareness of minority-owned businesses in Memphis and will specifically focus on Black-owned businesses during the latter half of this season, a press release from the Memphis Grizzlies said.

Along with the video, featured businesses will receive signs inside of the FedEx Forum during select Grizzlies games and a 30-second radio spot on 92.9 FM ESPN.

Beginning in the 2021-2022 season, the Club Box area on the Pinnacle Level of the Forum will officially be rebranded The Hennessey Club Boxes.
