MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The University of Memphis is one of the many universities forced to shut down the campus, reschedule events, or in this case, virtually recreate an event.
The University of Memphis announced that they will launch a social media campaign titled, #FB19Flashback, recreating the experience of the 2019 AAC Champion Memphis Tigers football season.
The campaign is sponsored by the Tennessee Lottery and Memphis Tigers Home Team partners Best Care Home Services, Tim Hogan’s Carpet, and Floors, Crone Construction, Robinson Tree Service, 5 Ash Roofing, Landmark Construction, and Emergency Services, Precision Door Service and Big League Movers.
The university will rebroadcast 11 of the 14 games on its official athletics Youtube channel, while the other three games will have the radio feed.
Games will be re-rebroadcast at 11 a.m. CT each day.
It will run Monday, April 20 through May 7.
The 14 days represent each game the team played this season.
The university is encouraging its fans and student body to post their favorite pictures from each game in the Twitter thread of the game using the hashtag #FB19Flashback.
