Memphis Zoo hosts a naming contest for Fox kits

MEMPHIS,Tenn. — Have you ever wanted to help name a zoo animal?

Well, the Memphis Zoo is giving you the chance.

They want the public’s help in creating a name for its poplar three bat-eared fox kits.

The kits, two females and one male, were born on May 25 and introduced to the public back in June, a spokesperson for the Memphis Zoo said.

You can pick your favorite names through an online poll at Memphiszoo.org. It costs $1 to vote.

So far, the choices are as follows:

1. Flora, Fauna, and Fern

2. Dill, Basil, and Saffron

3. Myrtle, Mildred, and Milton

The contest ends on Friday, August 7, 2020.
