SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — The Mid-South Fair returns today after a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

Gates open at 4 p.m. at the Landers Center in Southaven, Miss.

Guests can expect more safety precautions, including hand sanitizing stations throughout the fairgrounds.

The fair is also partnering with the Mississippi Department of Health to offer free COVID-19 vaccines. No appointment is necessary.

Anyone who gets vaccinated Thursday or Friday will receive free ride wristbands, officials said.

Guests can purchase tickets online and on their phones to scan as they go in.

Tickets are $5 for kids and seniors and $10 for adults.
