Some barbers believed the aftermath of the shutdown has been good and customers have been coming out strong.
Linda Owings owns Sonny's Elite Cuts Barbershop in Olive Branch.
She said when business came back, it came back big.
“Oh, it's been great,” Owings said. “We have been busy, busy, busy. Everybody has come back, and some new ones have come back in.”

It's one customer at a time under the law. Shower curtains divided the chairs.
Gordon Thompson came in to get his first haircut since the pandemic started.
“Getting my haircut, my ears got lowered, and it feels really good,” Thompson said.
Owings said it's good to be back but the feeling was even better knowing that all of her customers are well.
“It’s been crazy, but it’s been fun crazy because we get to see everybody come back, and everybody’s been well,” Owings said. “We don’t have anyone who has had anything, so we’re all good. “
The positive after uncertainty.
