MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Are you in need of food in the Memphis area?

MLGW is hosting its seventh annual mobile food pantry Oct. 28.

The food giveaway will be held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 620 Parkrose Rd., beginning at 10 a.m.

The food pantry is being held in partnership with the Mid-South Food Bank to help families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, MLGW said in a release.

Families picking up food should enter the Parkrose Road entrance. Security will be onsite directing traffic.

All household representatives must bring a valid ID with an address, or a document like a utility bill with an address, MLGW said.
