Mobile health clinic launches in Memphis; brings better access to health care

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Health Center celebrated a ribbon cutting Thursday for a new mobile health clinic, located at 360 E.H. Crump Blvd. in the 38126 zip code.

The unit will travel throughout MHC’s service areas to provide primary care, dental, lab/screening, COVID-19 tests and vaccines, community outreach and education, according to a release from MHC.

Marilyn Burress, Chief Executive Officer, said the mobile unit will bring resources directly to the people who need them most and eliminating barriers to health care access.

MHC was founded in 1970 as a nonprofit federally qualified health center, according to the release.
