MPD looking for 2 women wanted in assault at pawn shop

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are looking for two women who allegedly assaulted someone inside a local pawn shop.

On July 6, at 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance call at Cash America Pawn, 2378 Lamar Ave.

According to police, two women got into a verbal fight with a victim inside the store.

The victim was assaulted by both women.

During the assault, one of the women armed herself with a gun, police said.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
