MPD: Man shot several times and robbed at local convenience store, police searching for suspects

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are asking the public’s help to identify alleged suspects wanted in a robbery and shooting.

On July 16 at about 10:00 p.m., a man went into a convenience store in the 2700 block of Mendenhall.

He was waiting in line to pay when three men and a woman robbed him at gunpoint and shot him several times, police said.

According to a release, the men fled on foot while the woman left with other accomplices in a newer dark-colored SUV.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspect vehicle is a late model full-size black SUV, possibly a 2015 style Infinity, police said.
