MPD searching for man who stole loaded gun from car

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are searching for a man who allegedly stole a loaded gun from a vehicle.

The incident happened Sept. 2 at 1885 Berryhill Rd.

Police said the suspect reached into a vehicle through the driver’s side window and stole a Glock 9mm handgun from the console.

The gun was loaded with a 33-round extended magazine.

Police said the owner had left his vehicle unattended in front of the Marathon gas station.

The suspect was wearing a dark blue long-sleeve shirt with a Pro Paving logo on the front and back.
