MPD searching for suspects whole stole nearly $2K worth of shoes

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are searching for thieves who stole nearly $2,000 worth of shoes from a local shoe store.

Police said the three men went into Rack Room Shoes, located in the 8000 block of Giacosa Place, on May 14.

The suspects grabbed 15 pairs of Nike tennis shoes and walked out of the store without paying.

The suspects fled in a maroon-colored car, possibly a Nissan Sentra, with drive-out tags, police said.

The value of the shoes is $1,199.85.
