MPD searching for thieves who stole lottery tickets from local gas station

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police are searching for two suspects who stole lottery tickets from a local gas station.

The robbery happened March 24 at an Exxon in the 6100 block of Poplar Avenue.

Police said around 5 p.m. the two suspects entered the business, approached the counter, grabbed two lottery ticket dispensers and left without paying.

They fled in a white sedan that was waiting in a nearby parking lot.

Memphis police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
