MPD: Woman dead after shooting in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating a shooting where one woman was left dead.

Officers responded to the 3700 block of Jackson Avenue for a shooting about 5 a.m. Saturday.

According to police, one woman was found shot to death.

Police said the suspect could be a man, roughly 18 to 20-years-old.

The shooting is still under investigation.
