Murder suspect wanted after man gunned down in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The U.S. Marshals are searching for a wanted murder suspect after a man was shot and killed in Orange Mound.

Officials are looking for Robert Williams, who is wanted for First-Degree Murder, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, and Employment of a Firearm with intent to commit a felony, according to a release from the U.S. Marshals.

The murder happened Dec. 20, 2020, when a man was found shot to death in a vehicle near the 1100 block of Beverly Street.

Officials issued warrants for Williams’ arrest after the crime.

Williams is considered armed and dangerous, the release said.
