New Helen of Troy distribution facility to bring 350 jobs to Fayette County, governor says

FAYETTE COUNTY, Tenn. — Helen of Troy Limited, a designer and developer of consumer housewares and other products, is expanding in Tennessee, according to a release from Governor Bill Lee.

The expansion is projected to create 350 jobs in Gallaway.

The company is establishing a new distribution facility in Fayette County.

According to the release, the facility is 2 million sq. ft. with state-of-the-art automation and direct-to-consumer fulfillment capabilities at Hickory Withe Road and TN-196 in Gallaway.

The facility is being designed and built to house the company’s Housewares segment operations.

Construction will begin in July, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022, the release said.
