New photos released of alleged suspect in Oak Court shooting that killed man, injured baby

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police have released new photos of the alleged suspects in a shooting at the Oak Court Mall that killed one man and injured a baby.

Officers responded to a shooting call on Poplar Avenue at Oak Court Mall where victim Jayson Hill was lying in the south parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.

Hill was taken to Regional One Hospital and later pronounced dead.

According to police, a 9-month-old child was critically injured in this incident as well.

Video surveillance captured several images of the alleged suspects who were occupying a silver vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu.

One suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Samantha Bowens and is wanted in connection with the homicide.

Investigators in the homicide need help to identify the man in the photo, police said.

No arrest has been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
