MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A new subdivision development is planned for Whitehaven bringing more than 21 luxury homes to that area.
The development is added to a list of several other projects that are currently in the Whitehaven.
15 acres on Scaife Road will soon be the site of homes that will be in the Goshen Place subdivision.
This will be the first subdivision development with all newly constructed homes in Whitehaven since 2006.
The developers of the subdivision say with the housing market shortage, the need for move-up and middle to high-income housing developments has become crucial in today’s market, especially in the Whitehaven area.
People engaged with all the development happening in Whitehaven said it’s a resurgence of businesses and homes coming to Whitehaven.
“It’ll be very close to a 12 sound stage movie studio that’s already in development,: said Michael O’Harris, Greater Whitehaven Economic Redevelopment Corporation. “We are working to learn the set date when ground will be broken on the subdivision.”
