Officials offer reward for information about Lafayette Co. Schools threats

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Miss. — Lafayette County officials are offering a reward after the school district received two different threats this week.

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department and Crime Stoppers are offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest regarding those threats.

Tuesday officials said someone found a threatening note written on a bathroom stall.

The second threat was made Thursday morning when officials said students had been air dropped a message that stated “I am going to bomb all the Lafayette Schools today. Be careful and watch your back."

Both of those incidents are still being investigated.
