Parkway Village homeowners demand answers after trend of drivers hitting parked cars

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Parkway Village homeowners are demanding answers again from Memphis Police after another driver hit a parked car on their street and tried to get away.  

This is the third time this year residents reached out to FOX13 about incidents similar to this and even worse.

Daryl Moore showed FOX13 video captured on his Ring camera Thursday night.

A driver is seen hitting the car.  Witnesses told FOX13 the car tried to get away.

“If I’m going to obey the city, then the city needs to look out for us when things like this are commonly happening in our neighborhoods,” said Moore.

This is the third time FOX13 reached out to Memphis Police about problems on the street this year.  Memphis Police told FOX13 in the past they are looking into this.

Memphis residents are urged to reach out to the City of Memphis and request speed bumps in their neighborhood.
