MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating after human bones were found on Mud Island.
(1/23) @ approx 4 pm, offcrs responded to 101 Mud Island, at the south end of Mud Island, where a landscaping crew found what appeared to be human bones. Since, the bones have been identified as human. Investigators are currently back on the scene gathering additional evidence.

Officers responded about 4 p.m. Saturday to 101 Mud Island, at the south end of the island, after a landscaping crew found what appeared to be human bones.
According to police, the bones have been identified as human.
Investigators are currently on the scene to gather more evidence, police said.
