Police looking for murder suspect after man found dead outside Memphis motel

Memphis, Tenn. — Memphis Police are looking for a man accused of killing an older man outside of a Memphis motel.

MPD said an arrest warrant has been issued for Kourtney Walton, charging him with first-degree murder in perpetration of theft of property $2,500 to $9,999.

The charges stem from the death of 67-year-old Norman Lott, police said.

Lott was found dead in front of the Bellevue Inn Motel in South Memphis on July 1, according to police.
