COVID-19 vaccination site opens in Whitehaven

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — UPDATE:

The vaccine site opens this morning in Whitehaven at SWTCC, 1234 Finley Drive.

All appointment slots have been filled.

Those who have an appointment are asked to arrive no more than an hour before their appointment.

The site is administering first doses of the Pfizer vaccine from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Shelby County Health Department along with the Southwest Tennessee Community College will offer the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at the SWTCC Whitehaven Center at 1234 Finley Dr., on Feb. 5.

The site will have first doses of the Pfizer vaccine on both a drive-thru and walk-in basis by appointment only each Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Feb. 27, to those currently eligible to be vaccinated, a release said.
