Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff to visit Memphis to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations

WASHIGNTON, DC — Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will visit Memphis on Wednesday, June 16.

The trip is part of the Biden Administration’s nationwide tour to reach millions of Americans who still need protection against the COVID-19 virus, highlight the ease of getting vaccinated, encourage vaccinations, and mobilize grassroots vaccine education and outreach efforts.

This will be Emhoff’s second trip to the Bluff City this year. He visited a local job corps in May to discussed how the Biden Administration could help workers create better lives for their families.
