BARTLETT, Tenn. — Multiple Mid-South officers were lucky to walk away unharmed after a suspect dragged them during a traffic stop.

Bartlett police said Wednesday evening they pulled over Dejazon Snipes at Stage and Kirby Whitten Road. Police said they planned to send their K-9 unit around the vehicle.

Officers said they asked Snipes to get out of the car, but he refused.

There was some kind of scuffle between Snipes and the officers when police said he sped off and dragged several officers for about 30 feet.

Police said Snipes drove for about six miles, leaving Bartlett, and ended up at the intersection of Yale and Romill.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
