SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — The Shelby County Health Department has been monitoring 20 people for potential coronavirus exposure.

Friday the health department announced that nine of those 20 people had completed their two week period and didn’t show any symptoms of the coronavirus.

The remaining 11 people will continue to be monitored by the health department until they completed their two week period.

The health department reassured that none of those 20 travelers had been in the Hubei Province of China when the outbreak began and none of them showed symptoms of coronavirus, however, they were asked to stay home for a 14 day period as a precaution.
