Fight at Memphis’ Incredible Pizza leaves 2 shot, police say

Memphis, Tenn. — These were the words Angela Kennamore said the words she heard from her niece Saturday were scary, as a family gathering at America’s Incredible Pizza on Germantown Parkway turned violent.

“They’re fighting,” Kennamore said. “They’re fixing to shoot.”

According to Memphis Police, two adults were shot inside after a disagreement between two families, who know each other.

Both victims were transported to Regional One, with one in critical condition and the other in non-critical.

Kennamore and her family were visiting from Florence, Alabama.

She said they ran out the back to find safety after hearing gun shots.

“Yes, it was scary,” she said. “One man had a baby in front of me with a stroller and he was trying to run but he didn’t want to let go of that baby stroller. So I grabbed the stroller and had my grandbaby’s arm trying to get out, helping him with the stroller.”

According to MPD, one person has been detained.

“It’s ridiculous,” Kennamore said. “Ridiculous. I mean somebody that don’t have a conscious. To know that all these kids, if nothing else, but kids in here eating, playing, running around.”

Kennamore said she has been to this Incredible Pizza before.

FOX13 asked if she would be coming back.

“No..no,” she said.

According to their website, the Incredible Pizza location is closed Sunday and Monday.
