MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Southwest Tennessee Community College has partnered with Generation USA to offer free online training to Memphians for careers as a Digital Marketing Analyst or IT Help Desk Technician, a release announced.
“We are thrilled to partner with Generation USA to provide our community members with the training, support and resources they need to launch successful careers in the IT industry,” said Dr. Tracy D. Hall, president of Southwest Tennessee Community College.

The two positions have had the highest job openings in Memphis, according to Generation USA.
Generation USA is a global, tech-based non-profit.
The deadline to apply for the full-time classes is Jan. 1. Classes start January 4, and last 10 to 12 weeks.
“We are excited to partner with Southwest Tennessee Community College to help bring these programs to individuals and to empower students to create their own pathways for career success,” said Sean Segal, Generation USA CEO.
“Not only are we providing students with the necessary skills to be prepared for jobs in the digital world, we are equipping them with mentorship and social support services while amassing a network of companies to help place graduates.”
