FOX13 reported back in September that two victims told police that they and their friend, Antoine Sims, drove from West Memphis to buy some marijuana.

According to the DA’s office, Kenneth Givens, 19-years-old, “approached their car, but after a brief discussion he ordered them to leave after they allegedly tried to pay him with fake money.”

As the victims tried to drive away, Givens shot the car. Two victims were shot in the back of the head.

Sims, 18-years-old, died two days after the shooting.

The second victim, who was 20-years-old, survived the injuries.

Givens was indicted on counts of first-degree murder, and two counts each of attempted first-degree murder and employment of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony.
