Thousands come out for return of Food and Wine Festival

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Saturday evening, thousands of people turned out at Radians Amphitheater for the annual Memphis Food and Wine Festival.

The event started in 2015 as a way for chefs to showcase their food and skills to the community.

The festival was canceled last year because of COVID-19, so organizers were excited to welcome food and wine lovers again this year.

The event also doubles as a fundraiser for the FedEx Family House for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Organizers say they have raised over $300,000.
