Police identify victims in deadly Midtown crash

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police and the Memphis Fire Department are investigating a double deadly car crash.

A woman was sitting at a light when a man driving a Cadillac slammed into the back of her vehicle. The woman’s car then caught on fire, and then the Cadillac hit a tree.

Both drivers were killed.

MPD identified those drivers as 65-year-old William Garrett and 26-year-old Bria Dorsey.

The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on East Parkway near Central Avenue.

Police originally reported that three people were killed, however, they have corrected their statement.
