Two Men Arrested for Trying to Break Into Gus’s Fried Chicken, police say

MEMPHIS, TENN. — Gus’s Fried Chicken was targeted by two men attempting to break-in, police said.

Monday night, a Memphis police officer went to the downtown location when he spotted two armed men fleeing from the rear of the business.

According to the police report, he saw the suspects, Corderion Harris and Jerry Jackson drop two sledgehammers then run north towards Pontotoc Avenue.

The officer chased the two men and eventually caught them.

The two men were taken to 201 Poplar and charged with criminal attempt burglary.
