MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A mixed-use development project including townhomes, retail shops and a hotel are coming to Midtown Memphis where a former police station once stood.
The City of Memphis vacated the police precinct last year.
Plans for the project, located at 1925 Union Avenue, were approved by the Land Use Control Board.
The planned hotel will have 100-120 rooms. Two-story townhomes and retail shops will also line the street, documents show.
The project encompasses 3.66 acres of prime real estate space in the area.
