Video shows MPD officer all smiles while playing pretend with children at celebration

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Over the weekend, the Orange Mound Collaborative Group hosted a Juneteenth Celebration with lots of food, vendors, and music for all ages.

But what caught the eye of some event-goers was one Memphis Police Officer appearing to let a few children pretend to arrest him.

The officer spent part of the afternoon doing various outdoor activities with the children at the event.

The video was sent to us by a local FOX13 Viewer.

The Juneteenth Celebration was held at the Orange Mound Park at the corner of Carnes Avenue and Grand Street on June 18.
