Here is your weekend weather forecast:
Dangerous cold continues to grip the mid-south. We have remained below freezing since the ice storm hit and will stay below 32 until roughly 3 p.m. on Saturday (and even then only to around 34, and briefly).
Sunshine will help accelerate the melting process and relieve the stress on our trees and powerlines.
Overnight temperatures, however, will continue to be dangerous - especially to those who are still without power.
Please check on your neighbors and be safe!
- Clearing and cold tonight
- Overnight low 16 with a windchill of 7
- Partly cloudy and cold Saturday
- Saturday high 34
- Temps rise into the 40′s and 50′s starting Sunday and heading into next week
