Woman charged with shooting into car with woman, two kids inside

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police arrested a woman after she allegedly shot into another woman’s car with her kids inside.

On May 20, a woman told police she was traveling on Dunlap, returning home from the hospital.

According to an affidavit, another woman, identified as Angel Thomas, 21, hit the woman’s vehicle intentionally with her own as she approached her home.

The victim told police she had an ongoing conflict with Thomas because of the father of the victim’s kids.

The victim attempted to get away, but Thomas followed her down the street, records show.

Thomas allegedly rolled down her window and fired a shot into the woman’s vehicle.

At the time of the shooting, the victim’s kids, ages 3 and 5, were inside the car with her, records show.

Thomas allegedly then threatened to kill the victim and her kids “if she didn’t stay away from her boyfriend,” the affidavit said.

Thomas is charged with Aggravated Assault.
