Woman in critical condition after being hit by a car, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating an incident that led to one woman being hit by a car.

The accident occurred about 5:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Officers responded to a pedestrian crash in the 3000 block Winchester Rd.

One woman was struck and taken to Regional One in critical condition, according to police.

One person was detained at the scene.
