A man called the police and said that his child’s mother, Tiffany Wilson, was shot by his other child’s mother, Jackson, after an altercation, according to an affidavit.

He said Jackson came to his house and was angry that he had not answered the door earlier in the day, the affidavit stated.

He opened his door and Jackson grabbed him by his hair and they began to fight, police said.

Jackson reached for her purse, he let go of her, and she pulled out a gun, the affidavit said.

Jackson pointed the gun at him and as he turned his back, she fired a shot, MPD said. Wilson was shot in the face, according to police.

He told police Wilson was holding his 1-year-old son in her arms, records show.

Police determined Jackson was the one who started the arguments.
