A Monday night shooting at Interstate 40 and eastbound Interstate 240 sent a man to Regional One in critical condition, where he later died, according to the Memphis Police Department.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a male victim who was shot by a suspect possibly in a white Ford Explorer, police said.
MPD said this is being considered a possible road rage situation and have detained three people.
The suspects in the shooting were caught on Macon and Maria Street in a vehicle similar to the one described from the scene.
