MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man, wanted for one shooting, is in jail for allegedly fatally shooting another standing in the driveway of a home, court records show.

Stuart Pinkham, 33, was arrested and charged by police with second-degree murder, criminal attempt of second-degree murder, possessing a firearm during an attempt to commit a dangerous felony and being a convicting felon in possession of a weapon, police said.

Pinkham was identified as a suspect thanks a witness, who drove by the scene on March 20 at the 5000 block of Urbana Road shortly before the gunfire.

The witness told police he saw Pinkham shoot the man in his chest, then fire additional shots at the victim as he ran toward the house before falling down.

Memphis Fire Department arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim dead.

Pinkham, also known as Richie Rich, is also wanted by police in connection with a separate shooting on March 19 that happened on the 1000 block of Longcrest Road.

In that incident, police responded to find a woman who was shot in her right eye.

The woman told police she was sitting in a car and speaking with a friend at the 1000 block of Rosecrest when she said her boyfriend, Pinkham, fired one shot in the car.

He pulled her out of the car, then sped away in it.

The woman was sent to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

She later identified Pinkham in a photo lineup.

Records show that Pinkham had pled guilty in May 2017 to criminal attempt of second-degree murder and received an eight-year sentence of probation in Shelby county Criminal Court.

Bond has not been set for Pinkham.
