• MPD identifies teen found dead in Hickory Hill garage

    Police are asking for your help to solve the murder of a 15 year old boy.

    Jeff Charderious Fennell was found Saturday in the 4100 block of Meadow Creek.

    MPD detectives said right now they have no suspects and zero leads in this murder.

    The 15-year-old student went to Airways was found shot multiple times in a Hickory Hill garage by people house hunting.

    Police and family said the teenager kept to himself, and did not cause trouble.

    Both sides hope someone who knows what happened comes forward with answers.

    "This kid is 15 years old and it could've been my child, that could've been your child. We need to communities' help to solve homicide number 150," said MPD Homicide Detective Nino Frias.

    "If it was your family member or your little youngest brother, you would want someone to, you know, tell what happened. And you would want justice for him, just like I want justice for him," said Karee Fennell, Jeff's older brother.

    Police say if you have any information call Crime Stoppers at 528-2274.

    There is a $1000 reward for any tips that lead to an arrest.
