• Murdered LeMoyne-Owen college student laid to rest

    Friends and family of a Memphis teen said their final farewells today.
     
    Kiara Tatum was killed on New Year's Day in Parkway Village.


     
    Police said the 18-year-old was shot when two men opened fire on a group of people.
     
    Tatum was a student at LeMoyne-Owen College.
     
    She was laid to rest with a funeral service this afternoon. 
     
    Devante Robinson and 17-year-old Jaylen Clayton are both charged in her murder.
     
     
    Robinson had bonded out of jail just days before the shooting.
     
    He was charged with firing shots at a group of teens.
